MGS4 For Xbox 360? Not A Chance.
What with all the rumors out there, it's often difficult to differentiate fact from fiction in the video game industry. Late last year, one of the biggest rumors centered on Konami's upcoming blockbuster, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It was announced as a PS3 exclusive, but in this era of multiplatform titles, many were speculating it would also arrive for the Xbox 360. Some sources even claimed it was inevitable, that Konami would definitely port MGS4 to Microsoft's system at some point.
However, we'd like to issue a very firm clarification on this point, because it seems certain 360 fans simply refuse to grasp the truth: MGS4 is not coming to the Xbox 360. There are a variety of reasons for this. First and foremost is Hideo Kojima's constant insistence that he would never do such a thing. Sources can say Konami is "considering" a multiplatform endeavor, but Kojima isn't about to let them mess with his baby. Secondly, not once has the publisher wavered on their official stance that MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. No spokesperson ever stood up and said, "well, we may consider a 360 port if the market demands it," or something like that. Thirdly and finally, we cite evidence that popped up just today over at Joystiq:
According to Kojima himself, the team needed to make some cuts just to fit the game onto a Blu-Ray disc, which can hold up to 50 gigabytes of data. Now, if they had to work to cram MGS4 onto Blu-Ray, can you imagine what they'd need to do with a 360 version? It'd have to be distributed amongst 5 or 6 dual-layer DVDs! Now, if you combine this with the head man's ceaseless insistence that MGS4 isn't going anywhere besides the PS3, you get irrefutable proof: MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive, and will remain a PS3 exclusive. So get over it, 360 owners.

Why won't this rumor die? I can't think of a single rumor that has been denied the way this one has over and over. 360 owners, you're not getting MGS4.

If it had been the 25gb disc then it would be a waste and expensive to use the extra 25gb just for the Japanese audio so a good reason not to include it. whether it was the 50 or 25gb disc surely they could have just compressed the audio. Many multiplatform games have compressed video on blu-ray, a good example is the opening movie in Assassin's Creed on PS3, very poor quality and I expect they had plenty of room on the disc left over?

why dont you take xbox live and shove the whole community up your ass?
mgs4 would be way too good for the xbox. and really would be stupid as the ps3 is the EXCLUSIVE console.
sony has just been humping blu-ray too hard to make sure that they get the software players want. not some RROD trash with a $7.99 charge for online service.
and about halo.
its a great game but just another fps with a boring concept. i played the whole series in like 4 days and sold it to my friend for like 20 bux.
really who likes to shoot toadlike retards with green candles?
