Skid Row Singer Confirms Road Rash?

Recently, we learned that EA had signed developer Starbreeze to "reinvent one of its most acclaimed classic franchises" for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Neither the developer or publisher has been willing to announce the actual name of this franchise, but based on the most recent evidence, we've guessed that it's Road Rash.

EA mentioned earlier that they've been talking about the series in corporate meetings, so we'd like to think our guess is correct. Furthermore, more evidence just arrived courtesy of Skid Row front man, Sebastian Bach...no, really. According to Kotaku, Bach issued the following quote while on the Classic Metal Show:

"Another clean vocal song is 'You Don't Understand,' which is the second song on the record, which I totally specifically went for the clean vocal sound, but it is a super heavy song," said Bach. "That just got picked up for some video game--Road Rage, or Road Rash, or something like that."

That first part may not be a sentence, but the second part is very clear. Could Bach have let it slip that Starbreeze really is "reinventing" Road Rash for the new generation? Sure, why not? Hopefully, EA will provide us with the official announcement some time soon; for now, they're not willing to offer any comment. Surprise, surprise.
