New DLC For Guitar Hero III Revealed
The downloadable content for Activision's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock continues to flow, as two more upcoming packs have been announced.
The first is the Modern Metal pack, which includes "Hole in the Earth" by the Deftones, "Almost Easy" by Avenged Sevenfold and "The Arsonist" by Thrice. All three are studio master recordings and the pack is currently available on both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. Furthermore, the publisher will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day by issuing a free track pack that features Celtic punk band, Dropkick Murphys. Three master titles from the band's sixth album ("The Meanest of Times") will be included in the pack: "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya," "Famous for Nothing" and "(F)lannigan's Ball." Remember, picking up this pack won't cost you a single cent, and is scheduled to hit the Network and Marketplace within the next week or two.
Guitar Hero III was one of the best games of 2007, and fans are currently looking forward to Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, which should hit store shelves later this year. But in the meantime, there should be plenty of extra tracks available online to toy around with.

Where are the hundreds that were claimed would be available by now?
I feel cheated by these music game creators. They promise us tones of songs and we just get a handful before the next game is launched. And then we are expected to buy that to continue our begging for more. Oliver wasn't even that good a book!
