Rumor: New Bluetooth PS3 Headset
Bluetooth PS3 HeadsetIf you love to play your games online with a headset on the PS3, perhaps you're not the biggest fan of the Bluetooth headset that came packaged with Warhawk. It works well enough, but we know that all you gadget hounds out there are always looking for the newest thing.
Well, if this info from a supposedly leaked PowerPoint presentation is accurate, the PlayStation 3 is going to be getting a brand new Bluetooth headset! (source- PS3Fanboy) Pictured here, it's scheduled to launch some time later this summer (July or August), and the upcoming SOCOM: Confrontation bundle will feature this headset. The bundle will go for $60 while the headset will also retail individually with a price tag of $50. Of course, Sony isn't about to comment on the situation, giving their typical reply- "we have currently made no announcements for a new PS3 headset so any information is speculation and rumor."
Yeah, that's pretty standard. But given the picture and details, we'd like to think this rumor has a darn good chance of becoming completely true very soon. When and if Sony decides to issue the official announcement, we'll be sure to let you know.

And if the headset costs 50 dollars, and the bundle costs 60 dollars, then that means u can pretty much get the game for a tenner
sounds nice to me... altho I don't particularly want any of the two...

So i wouldn't put much stock in the pic. Although, even if the pic is fake it doesn't mean the story is.
