"Huge" PS3 Announcement For E3?
E3 is still months away, but that doesn't stop us from speculating. It seems a variety of sources are confirming that Sony has something "huge" planned for the yearly gaming event, and it involves the PlayStation 3.
Whatever it is, it should give the PS3 a big boost heading into the holidays (so says PS3Center.net), and the announcement could involve PlayStation Home, Killzone 2, or God of War III. The unveiling is expected to come during Sony's press conference for E3, and we can only begin to guess what it might be. We're still waiting on an official launch date for PlayStation Home, and everyone is hoping to hear more about that public beta, too. However, the beta - if it's going to happen - should be done before E3 in July. As for God of War III, all we know so far is that it probably won't arrive until some time next year...not sure what else there is to say. Things have been quiet on the Killzone 2 front lately, although we have heard rumblings of a public beta hitting later this month or early April. Again, though, that's before E3.
We have no idea what Sony's big announcement will be, but it's always fun to guess. Perhaps they'll let a little something slip before July, and if they do, we'll be all over it. When we hear about "big announcements," we get antsy...we wanna know now!
