Rumor: Call Of Duty 4 PS3 Feature Patch Hits This Week
Call of Duty 4: Modern WarfareIt's no secret that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a massive success on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. The top-notch title has already received patches that help with stability and reliability, but another one is on the way this week for PS3 owners!
Well, so the latest Internet rumor says. Avid players in a variety of forums are reporting that the new Feature patch for CoD4 will be arriving within the next few days. Evidently, Sony has informed several online users that this patch is in the final stages of certification. This means we should see the patch as early as later on today or tomorrow, but hopefully, no later than this weekend. Obviously, this is nothing more than a rumor without official confirmation from Infinity Ward, but with so many people talking about it, we figured it warranted this story.
We're most interested in what these new features are going to be, and what might be altered or updated in our online experience. CoD4 is already a virtual masterpiece, but we can always use some tweaks that make it even better. Anybody who complains about the short single-player campaign clearly hasn't gotten a chance to head online with this game. Once you do, you'll be just as enthusiastic as everyone else about this feature patch!

That’s right… just received word from Sony that they are on the final stages of certifying the PS3 Feature patch and will be definitely be seeing it go live to users this week and I may be getting an update as soon as tonight as to the exact time to expect it. I’m thinking you’ll be able to enjoy all the new features as soon as the next few days, but I’ll update you with I have a firm answer on that.
But the official word is, it’s coming this week for sure, possibly very soon."
