Two More PS1 Classics Rumored For PSN
When seeking new information for upcoming titles, there are two sources one should always check: retailers and the ESRB. The latter has just rated two original PlayStation titles, and the only reason for them to do that is fairly obvious... That's right, these two classics should be coming to the PlayStation Store!
As Strategy Informer found out, the latest listings from the ESRB include Legacy of Kain (rated "M" for Mature) and Pandemonium (rated "E" for Everyone). Both were top games for the good ol' PS1, and they'd make for fantastic additions to the Store. However, Sony hasn't confirmed that either title will make its way to the Network, so for now, this is just a rumor. But even so, why bother rating decade-old games again? Of course, this is all assuming the ESRB listings are completely accurate, so that could be another small hurdle. The amount of PS1 classics already available on the Store is pretty impressive, but we could always use more. Remember, that system saw well over 1000 titles released, and that was just here in the US.
We'll see what we can find out regarding Legacy of Kain and Pandemonium for the Store. If Sony decides to step up and confirm their future existence online, we'll be sure to give ya the full release details, including date and price. Stay tuned.
