Logitech Chillstream Controller For PS3
While we still need to get our hands on it - perhaps we can do an accessory review - this product is currently available, but it simply avoided the eye of most gamers until now. So if you're already familiar, sorry for the confusion, but if not, you might want to check it out. Prices vary, but it seems you can get it for far cheaper than either the Sixaxis or the upcoming Dual Shock 3. And rightly so; it's a third-party product, after all.
Original Story:
What you're looking at here is the new Logitech Chillstream controller for the PlayStation 3. We're still waiting for full release details from Logitech, but these pictures just recently hit the Internet overnight. (source- GadgetBlind.com)
To go along with the imminent release of the Dual Shock 3, this particular controller offers a different sort of feature, one you could probably surmise by the accessory's title. Yep, it basically cools your hands while you play. As you can see, there's a vent at the top (and on the sides) that continually bathes your fingers in a cooling breeze, which is an very cool (forgive the pun) idea. The force feedback is already an accepted feature for controllers - we still don't get the appeal, but whatever - and the Chillstream might become yet another appreciated bonus. As far as we know, the controller operates just like the Sixaxis in every other way, but does that include motion sensing...?
As we said, Logitech still needs to release the information on this handy little unit, but we wanted you to see it ASAP. We'll be interested to see how it compares in price to the Dual Shock 3; we'd like to assume the Chillstream will retail for less than $60. Guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

You can buy this controller for around 30 bucks. It has 3 fan speed settings off, slow, and high. Its wired and no it does not have sixaxis but other than that it's your standard ps3 controller. Oh and it has a button in the middle, it disables the analog sticks and allows the d-pad to be used.
