OPM UK Rumors: Mass Effect, Dead Rising 2 For PlayStation 3
Whenever new magazine issues hit stores, we're always interested to see what rumors are included within its pages. As it turns out, the latest edition of OPM UK introduces a few new rumors and restates a few old ones; all of which are well worth mentioning.
First up, it seems that Capcom is developing Dead Rising 2 for multiple platforms, and of course, that includes the PS3. If you don't remember, the original - a solid and very entertaining action title - was exclusive to the Xbox 360, but Capcom isn't siding entirely with Microsoft anymore. No, they just brought over Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, remember? Secondly, the supposed theme of Team ICO's new game "has links to Norse myths," but for now, that's all we know. Thirdly, Netflix is preparing to offer movie downloads that can be directly accessed through the PS3, which isn't a new rumor, but it's good to hear again.
However, the last bit of news is easily the biggest: as some gamers and analysts have theorized, it now seems certain that Mass Effect and its upcoming sequels will make their way to Sony's console. We figured this might be the case, what with EA becoming involved in the franchise, and OPM UK says it might be a fact. Microsoft may have paid a hefty chunk of change to keep Bioshock exclusive, but such is not the case with Mass Effect. Now, all we have to do is wait and see if Sony denies or confirms any of this...

Other than that, a port of the first Mass Effect would be nice, so that whole "exclusive for now" line about its sequel may give us PS3 owners some hope yet. Hey! Maybe a port is actually in the works to tide us over until the sequel eventually comes...

And about lost planet; I don't know why that thing got hyped up so much, it sucked on 360, why did anyone think it wouldn't suck a year later on PS3. Games don't get better with age. Most actually get a lot worse.
@PSN Haitan: Neither Mass Effect or Dead Rising are FPS's so what are you talking about?
