Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Bundle Spotted?
Activision's Guitar Hero III released late last year to wide critical acclaim and even wider fan appreciation. Therefore, it was no surprise at all to hear the publisher would be adding more titles to the uber-popular franchise, although we really didn't expect such titles to arrive so early...
Earlier this year, rumors started to fly that Activision would be releasing not one, but two more Guitar Hero games in 2008, which came as good news to avid followers. A bit later, it was confirmed that one of these two titles would be Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Obviously, it will feature the legendary band that has Steven Tyler as their front man, but it will also boast other tracks from other artists. We hadn't heard much beyond that, but as it turns out, a comprehensive bundle should be arriving on June 29, according to this listing found by GamerZone. You can also see the 3-Tier track list as well. The set includes plenty of Aerosmith songs - duh - plus tracks from the likes of Joan Jett, The Clash, Cheap Trick and more. Will Activision make all this official in the coming weeks?
The price - $99.99 - seems about right, and we have no reason to doubt the track list, but without official confirmation, we're forced to chalk it up as rumor for the time being. However, we still think you should prepare for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith on June 29, and you should also expect that price and those songs. It should be just the ticket to satisfy die-hard GH fans.
