Sony: Public Beta For Home "Very Soon"

For months now, we've all been wondering when Sony would bring a public beta for PlayStation Home to North America, and according to the May issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, that time is coming very soon.

Leaked images from the issue have started to traverse the Internet's hyperspace, and they show an article with a quote from the Senior Director of the PlayStation Network, Susan Panico. In the piece, she talks about the Network and Home, and her gem of a statement has put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces. Don't believe us? Here it is-

"We'll be opening up the Home Beta to the public very soon and hope to see you there."

We like that. Simple, succinct and to-the-point. Of course, now we have about a million other questions that are likely answered in that article, but we don't yet have our hands on the issue. The May edition should be available now, though, so check it out for yourselves. We will be contacting Sony to see if we can get more information concerning this public beta; they shouldn't be quite so tight-lipped now. If we learn anything, we'll be sure to fill you in.
