GTAIV PS3 Bundle Goin' Down Under

US gamers have been hoping for a Grand Theft Auto IV PS3 bundle, but so far, all the evidence only points towards bundles for other territories. Take Australia, for instance, who should be receiving a GTAIV PS3 bundle on May 1.

Retail sources are claiming this is indeed a fact, and the package includes the standard 40GB PS3 model and a copy of Rockstar's gigantic blockbuster. The bundle will hold a retail price of AU$749, which gives the consumer a small break; the 40GB PS3 costs AU$699 separately. Europe should be getting this bundle as well, so it seems Sony and Take-Two have the PAL territories covered. Where are the bundles for this country? For that matter, how's about the different-colored hardware systems? Can't we at least get those?

Of course, Sony hasn't confirmed this bundle for Europe or Australia just yet, but we doubt the retailers are lying through their teeth. It's definitely further incentive to pick up a PS3 if you haven't done so yet, and then there's GTAIV...which everybody on earth wants.
