Euro Haze Release Confirmed: May 23

If you do a search on our site with the keywords "Haze" and "release," you're going to laugh yourself silly. Ever since the game was revealed at last year's E3, the release date rumors became an ongoing saga that appeared to have no end. Only recently have we heard what should be the definitive final word on the launch, and that came straight from Ubisoft...thankfully.

It wasn't long ago that the publisher confirmed Haze for a May 22 release in the US and Europe, which made everyone happy. Yay, a concrete date! However, less than 24 hours after issuing this news, Ubisoft backtracked and changed the UK date to just "May." Obviously, many were wondering if this meant the game would be delayed further for European territories, but as it turns out, the date remains the same (or damn close, anyway). Today, according to the Videogaming247 blog, Ubisoft has confirmed that Haze will arrive in Europe on May 23. Therefore, we believe we can finally drop the insanity surrounding a release date for Free Radical's promising FPS, and that's a very good thing. We were getting tired of all these stories.

Oh, and if you've already forgotten, Haze is a definite PS3 exclusive. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
