GTAIV PS3 Bundle Confirmed For Europe?

One of the biggest - and trickiest - topics of conversation over the past few weeks has centered on the possibility of a Grand Theft Auto IV PlayStation 3 bundle for Europe and PAL regions. Sadly, none of these rumors say the bundle is headed for the US, but at least Euro gamers should be paying close attention. We already have evidence that this bundle is coming to Australia.

You can find any number of sources around the Internet claiming the Euro GTAIV PS3 bundle is real, but the latest - a NeoGAF moderator - has said the bundle is "150% exclusive to the PS3 and that there are currently no plans for a 360 bundle." He also heard that this bundle wouldn't be available on launch day, but would drop a few weeks later and restated that there's "absolutely zero information about a US bundle." Now, without any official confirmation from SCEE, this kinda translates to "blah blah blah" from a journalism standpoint, but it's still worth noting. It would be a damn good business move on the part of Sony to offer such a bundle, but we're not sure why the US wouldn't get the benefit of this package...

We're hoping they will actually confirm this bundle within the next few weeks, and if they do, retailers can expect to see a huge amount of interest in that package. We'll let ya know what we find out.
