GTAIV PS3: 3.26MB Storage, 1080p HD
See Full ImageThe closer we get to the Grand Theft Auto IV launch on April 29, the more intricate details we uncover. For example, a large screenshot of the back of the box - shown here at the GameSpot forums - has uncovered two interesting tidbits of information concerning the PS3 version of GTAIV.
First of all, this game isn't going to take up as much space as you might think: 3.26MB. This shouldn't be a problem at all for anybody; the vast majority of users have either 40GB, 80GB or 60GB worth of space on their console. We've heard some nasty rumors about a very long install process (some say it takes around an hour), but we've been unable to substantiate such rumors. Secondly, you'll also notice that GTAIV PS3 supports full 1080p resolution, which is a huge bonus for HD owners. We believe the Xbox 360 version also supports this maximum HD, although it may not be native, so it seems that all users will benefit from this resolution.
With everything that GTAIV will offer gamers, from the lengthy single-player campaign to the diverse and involving multiplayer, we fully expect most players to pump many hours of fun into Rockstar's giant blockbuster. Remember, if you wish to tackle everything, the developers have said it will take over 100 hours...that long enough for your $60? We'd say so.

And the game isn't 1080p, it's 720p native. At most, it'll just fake an upscale to display on older HDTVs that don't have 720p - that's it.

1. Minimum Install 3.3MB
2. Full Install 3.3GB >.<

i know this s PS news website , but please dont post biased personal comment like that. x360 and PS3, graphic-wise is on-par.
if the PS3 got native 1080p, x360 will get 1080p native too. Texture-wise and data-wise, if GTA run at 1080p on PS3 that have 256MB ram, it will run on x360 too. (x360 have 512MB vga system ram, they are unified)
x360 will have benefit in no need to install but [b]slower[/b] loading.
PS3 will benefit in Faster loading but need install.

if there will be a "Big Install" on PS3 that take 3Gigs or more, im sure the ps3 version will almost have no loading. HDD is very fast

If there was an install onto the HDD wouldn't it be more along the lines of 3.26 GB? 3.26 MB sounds like the size of a save file for a game.
