PSM: GTAIV Review, Rumors Abound
The Official PlayStation Magazine has just started to hit stores around the country, and it features several items of interest.
First and foremost is their Grand Theft Auto IV review, which nailed down a perfect score (just like the review in OXM). Then, thanks to those good ol' "Insider Whispers," several big rumors have cropped up. PSLegion outlines them as seen below, and we have to say, we can't wait to hear more about Heavenly Sword 2; the first was excellent. We'll miss Nariko, though.
-- Want more on the Playstation Store? Well, bite size episodic gaming will hit “before the end of the year.”
-- Heavenly Sword 2 will feature a male lead and will take place ten years after the original. Kai may or may not be involved, but we've heard she does make a return at some point in the game. Twing-twang!
-- Everyone has been waiting for an in-game XMB for the PS3, and it seems we can expect it to arrive this summer.
-- Ready at Dawn, developer of God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP, is now working on a PS3 game. (this, we could've guessed before, when the team said they would be leaving the PSP and working on "other platforms")
So there you have it; enough to chew on for the rest of this month, wouldn't you say? The GTAIV review is plenty good enough for us, but we always like to hear more news about HS2 and that in-game XMB. We also want more info on that "bite-sized episodic content," because anything new for the Store is usually a bonus.
