OPM UK To Feature MGS4 Review In May

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

As you may have noticed with Grand Theft Auto IV, gamers are going to start seeking high and low for the world's first review of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, scheduled for a worldwide release on June 12.

We saw plenty of fake GTAIV reviews hitting the Internet over the past month or so, and the first real reviews came from OPM and OXM (just recently leaked). Not surprisingly, both publications awarded the massively anticipated title a perfect 10/10, and MGS fans are going to be hoping for the same glowing praise for MGS4. Now, we have heard from a tipster in the GameTrailers forums that the May edition of OPM UK will feature the very first MGS4 review! It hits UK shelves on May 16, but that also means we can probably start perusing the Internet for the leaked review within the next few weeks. ...as if they could manage to keep the score secret until the 16th. Of course, we won't have to worry about the constant PS3-360 comparisons with MGS4, so it'll be all about the game itself.

There's no doubt that MGS4 is the second-biggest release of the year behind GTAIV, so we'll be keeping a sharp eye out for any real feedback on the final product.
