Custom Soundtracks For Paradise Confirmed
The more games that embrace this feature, the more popular it's bound to become. And considering that Burnout Paradise is the perfect venue for custom soundtracks, this announcement should come as good news to all race (and crash) enthusiasts out there.
According to the Operation Burnout website, Criterion has officially revealed that custom soundtracks will soon be coming to the PlayStation 3 version of Paradise. For all you technically challenged individuals out there, this is going to be an extremely simple process, too: just select the option through the easy drive menu, which brings up the XMB soundtrack page where you can pick and choose from your own soundtrack. You can also choose the options "shuffle" and "repeat" for added variety. As of now, there's no release date for this feature, but Criterion says it will be included in the upcoming "Cagney" update, which is due some time soon.
Before long, we expect to see more in the way of custom soundtrack options for plenty of popular titles, especially in the realm of racing and general sports. It's definitely a major bonus for all PS3 owners and their software!
