SCEE Schedules Press-Only Event For May 6
Sony still has several beans to spill regarding major topics in 2008, especially when it comes to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Gamers over there have a lot of questions and complaints regarding SCEE's business model, and of course, everyone wonders about things like PlayStation Home.
Well, according to the Videogaming247 blog, SCEE has just confirmed a press-only event for May 6, although we have no further details at this time. The site theorizes that Sony will issue more information on the European launch of Home on that day, but in all honesty, just about anything can happen. We doubt SCEE is holding this event primarily to respond to the recent gamer backlash (linked above), but you never know; it may come up during the course of the day. European gamers have been waiting for some good news on their end, and while they got it with the free Metal Gear Online beta test availability, they believe they deserve more. After all, they've been getting the short end of the stick for years.
As soon as we can find out what this mysterious press event is all about, we'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, let the speculation and debate begin...

Well, as you asked lol
I think they won't say anything concerning the upset EU community, and while Home is very likely im a little pesamistic about that too, being that they have yet to say anything big on it since 2007.
It'll sure be interesting to see if something exclusive to EU is announced, and if by some chance it were Home, that'd kill 2 birds with one stone. People will relax for a while over the below par store issues and their Home woes will be answered.
Only time will tell... So yes, in the meantime, let the speculation and debate continue...

It won't help, SCEE has done terrible things, remember they were the ones to shut down Lik-Sang. And also SCEA split up from them and let them do thier own thing because they kept runing things
