PlayStation Network April 23, 2008: Iron Man Demo & More

  Tomorrow is PlayStation Network Thursday and that means tons of freebies! On the PlayStation 3 side of the spectrum, we get a pair of demos. The first demo is for the Iron Man movie-based videogame that Sega will be launching very shortly. The second demo is for Echochrome, Sony's ambitious puzzle game that is manipulated purely by perspective. We expect it to be the same demo that's been available on the Japanese PSN for the past few months now.

   Other goodies are full PSP downloads of LocoRoco, and Kingdom of Paradise - we're not sure what the price-point of both games is. The other downloadable game is a PSOne Classic, R-Type. Expansions should feature the Call of Duty 4 map pack for $9.99, an Eye of Judgment expansion, Guitar Hero III songs, Rock Band song, and Karaoke Revolution songs.

   Lastly, Sony will be putting up the Resistance 2 teaser that debuted on GameTrailers last week, so look for that too. We'll update this story if Europe or Japan get demos that we aren't, so keep posted.

How long have "PlayStation Network Thursday"'s been around? or is it like a one off publicity-type thing?

PSN Thursdays have been around since the launch of the PS3. 90% of the time when something is added to PSN Store, it's on a Thursday.

sweet i need as many demos and video's to keep my mind off GTA4,MGO beta should help to.

I would ask you whats on the EU store but i guess it's a kind of "Whats the point?" issue lol I'll just have to download from the US store like every.......other.............week.....

Suggestion, sugar coat it a bit. Euro gamers are still a little sore. I hope Sony put up a decent update in the EU, just to quell the EU community a little.

Japanese store has not updated yet. I would check a little closer to about midnight daylightsavings time, central/mountain time, US... I will try to post when the Japanese, American, and European stores update. "Verry Niiiiece... we make sexy time.." oh that doesn't pertain to this post...

Man! I didn't know sega was behind Iron man the video game...ever since their Sonic game on the PS3 and well anything else they try to make...well honestly is just plain horrible...ewk, thank god for a demo

*US Store not updated as of 1 pm Central US time.
*Japanese Store gets additions to HotShots Golf 5 and Pixel Junk Monsters, Flow for PS3 and PSP. They also get an ugly theme!
*Europe gets the CoD4 varitey pack! Thats about the only cool thing they have got so far that I saw...
