Baseline Info Discovered For SCEE's PlayStation Day

When Sony Computer Entertainment Europe revealed they'd be holding a PlayStation Day event on May 6, everyone began to wonder- what might be featured at the show? What topics will be discussed? Will we hear more about Home? Well, according to a PlayStation.com forumite (StalkingSilence), it seems we have some baseline information for the event.

First of all, it seems that both SCEI president Kaz Hirai and SCEE president David Reeves will be delivering keynote addresses, which isn't exactly surprising. Secondly, several games should be on tap: the already released Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and the upcoming Resistance 2, Secret Agent Clank (PSP) and SingStar Vol. 2. For our part, we can't wait to have more details on Insomniac's blockbuster sequel, just because we remain huge fans of the original Resistance. Unfortunately, we don't see any evidence of PlayStation Home being part of the proceedings on May 6, but either Hirai or Reeves may let something drop during their opening speeches.

European gamers are sure to be interested in what will transpire at this event, and as soon as the info becomes public, we'll clue you in. Until then, let's hope we get plenty of new media for those games!

Isn't GameTrailers supposed to have exclusivity on the Resistance 2 trailer?

Hope we get some footage on it.

Funny how silent Sony has been about the further delay of Home.

It should be interesting, however I do not take for granted what marketing tells me. I think the proof of what they say will be in the pudding...

There should be news on Home, and possibly some leaks on whether or not we will get in-game XMB.

Q!
