Haze Demo For Europe On May 6

In case you'd forgotten amidst the Grand Theft Auto IV insanity, Free Radical's PS3 exclusive FPS, Haze, comes out this month. Furthermore, European gamers are anxiously anticipating SCEE's PlayStation Day event, which is on Tuesday, May 6. How are the two related? Well, here's how-

In addition to the normal European PlayStation Store update on Thursday, May 8, Sony is going to add a few more with an earlier update to celebrate PlayStation Day...and that includes the playable demo for Haze. The demo of this very promising title - along with a host of other updates - drops right on May 6, so get ready for some active downloadin'. Haze leads the way, but there will also be a demo for Condemned 2: Bloodshot, plus three full games (including Blast Factor Advanced), and of course, several expansions and trailers. If you check over at the official EU Sony message boards, you can find the full list for both May 6 and May 8, for both the PS3 Store and PC Store (for PSP).

Obviously, gamers in the US are going to hope for that Haze demo, too, although it may not arrive until the Thursday update. Remember, all this info is only for Europe to commemorate SCEE's PlayStation Day, so we can't say this is confirmed for any other territories. Oh well...at the very least, that's why we have multiple Store accounts, eh?
