New MGS4 Gameplay Footage Video
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is only about five weeks away now, and with each passing day, we get closer to experiencing what many expect to be the finest stealth/action experience in history. And now, after an exclusive XPlay feature boasting plenty of new gameplay, the fans are even more excited (if that's humanly possible).
First, they take us through a section where the player controls a droid, which has stealth camouflage and even a weapon in the form of an electric shock that stuns enemies. Then, we're treated to an intense section of combat where Snake and his friends storm a house loaded down with Ocelot's gang. Honestly, it's possibly the most amount of all-out action we've ever seen in any MGS title, and the level of AI - for both allies and opponents - is impressive. We feel sorry for the all-female, wall-climbing pack of soldiers under Ocelot's control, but hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Lastly, we get a chance to see the rocket launcher - sweet! - and as one final detail, bullets will penetrate certain objects. You can see Snake get hit when crouching behind a wooden obstacle, for example.
Well, there's not much else to say. Now you just have to watch it to fully appreciate the greatness of the gameplay. We kinda figured it'd be awesome, but we'll take this as early vindication.

When I played the MGS4 demo, I really felt like I was playing something next-gen. I can't wait.
I've felt like I've been playing Playstation 2.5, with the exception of a few games. As good as games have been in the past year, I haven't felt like the leap from PS2 to PS3 was that big.
But games like MGS4, LBP, Killzone 2, Uncharted and GTA4 remind me that we are indeed in a new generation.

I sucked so badly though, I was so conscious of the time restrictions that instead of getting in as much as possible, I ended up not knowing what to focus on and getting killed a lot. Plus, I was playing on a screen where everyone outside of the bunker could see, and everyone was watching me play.
@prone - Huh? No there hasn't.

It's got a weird message where the video should be. The whole box is blue and in the box it says:
Type:
3rd Party
Size:
Unknown
Dimensions:
425x355 px
System:
PS3
Edit: Nevermind, i didn't realise thats not where the video should be, i found it after clicking the second link. Question though, why do you have to click 2 links to get to the video? Wouldn't it be easier to make it one?
