Insomniac: More Resistance 2 Details And Media This Month
Resistance 2One of the most anticipated games of the year will come from Insomniac's able hands, and it's called Resistance 2. The sequel to the best PlayStation 3 launch title (by a long shot) is bound to turn some heads, and the developers say we can expect more news and media this month.
According to an update at Insomniac's official site, all of us can look forward to "several more articles on your favorite gaming websites with 'Resistance 2' in the headline, complete with new images." Yeah, that's right, we're your favorite games site, and you can be damn sure we'll be all over any and all new information/screenshots for this game. However, as that newsletter also says, you can check out team member's Bryan Intihar's blog, where he talks about the 60-player battlefield and control mechanic. He also hints that Resistance 2 may soon be entering the QA department! These are all the official details we have right now, but as they say, more is on the way.
Resistance 2 is - as far as we know - scheduled for a fall release this year, and you can bet we're plenty excited. We hope it turns out to be the best shooter of 2008!

I've been waiting months for them to say something new about the game. Hopefully we might get a release date soon.
