Rumors arose yesterday regarding the possibility of a very pretty boxed set of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PAL regions. These rumors went unconfirmed until today, as Play.com clearly sports a listing for just such a package.

As you can see, it's exclusive to Play.com, and it includes a few great collectibles that are likely to entice big fans of the franchise. Besides the game itself, those who score this Limited Edition will also receive a 6" Old Snake 'Olive Drab' action figure, "The Making of Metal Gear Solid 4" documentary, and the official Metal Gear Solid 4 soundtrack. All of this goes for the price of £79.99, or approximately €101. That may seem a bit high to most consumers, but to the loyal MGS followers, it's well worth the cost to have this in their collection. So, what we assume is the final limited or special edition has been revealed for Europe, which means that all major territories will have an option to go collectible come June.
