Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

It's always good to make things official, isn't it?

While everybody already knows that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is finished, Konami is solidifying that fact today: at 1:00 p.m., the official completion ceremony for MGS4 will be held in at the theater complex in Tokyo's popular Roppongi Hills district. Here, attendees will be treated to the very first Japanese commercials of the game, the full 17-minute introduction, and of course, meet-and-greets with the likes of Kaz Hirai and Hideo Kojima. Speaking of the man who brought MGS into our lives (everyone say, "thank you"), Kojima himself will actually play through 40 minutes of the game while the crowd looks on. Lastly, Konami will address some collaborations it has planned for MGS4, which we might be interested to hear about. (source- IGN)

MGS4 is going to be amazing, and Japanese gamers certainly love the franchise even more than US gamers...if that's possible. We'll let you know if any previously unknown details drop today at this event, and in the meantime, keep waiting anxiously for June 12.
