Haze Questions Answered At PS Blog

Here's the thing about Free Radical (and Ubisoft, to some extent): they've proven to be a gamer's most valuable resource, as the developers continually update their target audience with progress reports and answer questions whenever possible. This makes them a very appealing resource for both gamers and journalists, and they have once again come forward to address the players.

If you check the latest update over at the official PlayStation blog, you will notice that Ubi_Wuzzi! (Aymeric Evennou), Haze community developer, has answered many pressing questions. For example, he confirms that the four-player co-op mode can be played offline and online, there there will be "no loading times whatsoever" during the course of the single-player campaign, and more. Heck, he even tosses out a few comical wallpapers for Haze fans, and we expect there to be plenty of those when the game releases on May 22.

If you have any more questions you'd like to have answered, go to Ubisoft's forum and post 'em up in their Ask the Devs! thread. So feel free to read through today's Q&A at the PlayStation blog, and you can bet that if more updates are required, we'll be seeing them shortly.

i wish he had addressed the graphics issue. Call me a graphics whore, but the looks looks and feel of the game didnt impress me, and quite a few others out there. I hope they prove me wrong

Apparently that HAZE demo we all played was last years build. The game should look better and play better when its released next week.

Famistu has reviewed HAZE and have given it a pretty good score! Considering that Famistu dont relly like FPS's, HAZE has scored very well indeed..

Ive posted a scan of the review over in the forums...

i didnt mind the demo.. but compared to the hype, it was meh!

the four player CoOp was fun, but thats the last thing i consider when buying a game.

heres hoping that it is good, but as I say, after playing that Demo.. if Famistu was playing that calibre of graphics and game play then they need their heads read.
So im pretty confident that the game has improved a lot, it just wouldnt of got a score anywhere near what they got if the game hasnt improved at all.

Thanks for that dillonthebunny.

That's weird, I thought the Japanese hated FPS? Maybe their judgment of FPShooters is off a bit, hopefully it's not.

The only thing that the final game can improve over the demo is the visuals. I highly, HIGHLY doubt FRD would go back and fix a whole bunch of gameplay mechanics over this demo. If that were the case, they wouldn't have released the demo in the first place.

The demo was said to be awful, but i never go by demos... they are too often far from what is incorporated in the final release. I'll play it when it comes out and decide then... all you can really do if you want to be accurate about it.

when I say Gameplay I mean stuff like edge detection, clipping.. that sort of thing really.

i doubt they would go and change deep rooted gameplay.
