Sony's 08, Early 09 Software Lineup

Resistance 2

Paul Revere rode through the dark streets of a very young America, exclaiming, "The British are coming, the British are coming!" ...substitute "games" for "British," and that's what Sony has just said in their recent press release that details the software lineup for the rest of 2008 and the first part of 2009.

All kinds of huge names are on this list, and that includes the likes Resistance 2, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, and more. Some may have hoped to see Gran Turismo 5 on here, but remember, Sony and Polyphony have already said we shouldn't expect it until later on next year. Anyway, here's the lineup:

• Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 (PSP- June 3, 2008)
• Secret Agent Clank (PSP- June 17, 2008)
• wipEout HD (PSN- Summer 2008)
• Elefunk (PSN- Summer 2008)
• PixelJunk (PSN- Summer 2008)
• SIREN: Blood Curse (PSN- Summer 2008)
• SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Confrontation (PS3- September 16, 2008)
• LittleBigPlanet (PS3- October 2008)
• NBA 09 (PS3, PSP, PS2- Fall 2008)
• BUZZ! Quiz TV (PS3- Fall 2008)
• BUZZ! Master Quiz (PSP- Fall 2008)
• MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (PS3- Fall 2008)
• Resistance 2 (PS3- Fall 2008)
• Killzone 2 (PS2- February 2009)

As you can see, they're really pumping out a few significant PSN titles for this summer, and it is most certainly confirmed that Killzone 2 won't make it in 2008. However, I'm sure we'll be plenty happy to have Resistance 2, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and LittleBigPlanet this fall, right?
