PS3 News: GameStop/EB Games to Start PS3 Pre-Orders

GameStop/EB Games to Start PS3 Pre-Orders

During a lengthy conference today, GameStop Inc., has announced that starting October 10th (that's tomorrow), all EB and GameStop stores will begin accepting PS3 pre-orders with a $100 down payment. But before you run off to your nearby store, we suggest food, water, comfortable shoes, and possibly warm clothing. Yep, you'll likely have to get to the store before it opens (read: camp out) and pray you're one of the first few people there. Reserves are very low, with most stores getting less than 10 systems per store. The higher-grossing stores will receive a slightly larger allocation of 15 units, and that's still nothing to rejoice over. But those numbers doesn't include future shipments, it's only for the launch shipment; so there is still some hope down the line.

You can, of course, pay for your pre-order with cash, credit/debit, or trade-ins. Good luck, folks!
