Singstar PS3 Launches!
If guitars and drums aren't doing it for you, and you want a proper karaoke title, Sony's fantastic Singstar franchise has finally arrived for the PlayStation 3 in the US. Singstar for PS3 is a major step forward for the franchise, as it utilizes a social community that allows you to upload your performances in video or audio format. Additionally, it features a backend with hundreds of songs available to purchase at $1.49 a pop, with dozens of extra songs made available every month.  "The worldwide success of SingStar continues to spread across North America due in large part to its casual-friendly, social gameplay," said Jeff Reese, director, software marketing, SCEA. "PS3 has allowed us to evolve the SingStar experience, growing beyond simply expanding the library with new tracks. Adding new next-generation features such as the SingStore and My SingStar Online, SingStar PS3 is the complete party package with an ever-growing downloadable catalog, global community-driven content and innovative, social networking features."
When you boot the game up, you will be prompted with a patch download. This patch adds new enhancements to the game, such as Harmony Duet mode, separate Battle Mode difficulties, lag calibration, and PSP Remote Play. Sony has also confirmed that PS2 Singstar microphones are compatible with the PS3 version, and that package bundled with two mics will also be sold, in addition to the stand-alone game.

And since the pic there is Norwegian), anyone know if Sony will put up Kaizers Orchestra's Maestro on the Store? I've been trying to get a Norwegian copy of the game just to have that track.
