EA Dates PS3 Version Of FNR3

Boxing is one of those sports that tends to go in streaks, but to keep popularity alive in the video game world, the Fight Night franchise has done its part. Well, it's time for Round 3 on another next-gen console, and EA has finally given us a release date for the PS3 version.

Fight Night Round 3 should hit the PS3 on December 12, just in time for the crazy Christmas consumers. The Xbox 360 version is already available, but the PS3 version will add split-screen multiplayer, a first-person "Get in the Ring" mode, and wicked cool live updates from ESPN. EA is taking strides to ensure an immersive, realistic experience, so you won't want to miss this installment.

And in addition to the news, we've got a few new screenshots, which will let you see the character detail. Pretty darn impressive.
