Haze Asking For Non-Existent Patch?
As if the mediocre critical response to the game wasn't bad enough, it now appears that gamers are running into a significant issue when they try to invite Friends into a game of Haze online.
As you can see by this recent thread over at the official Ubi forums, people are plenty upset about this. For some reason, when you go to invite Friends to play, the game asks you to download a patch...a non-existent patch. Hence, there's no way to get your buddies involved in an online match, which is turning out to be a major issue for new Haze owners. We're not sure if Free Radical is preparing a patch for the game or if this is just a glitch, but either way, it's a significant problem that needs to be fixed straightaway. Even though Haze isn't dragging down high scores from reviewers, it should still be mildly entertaining online, right? It would help if this would work correctly, though.
We'll see if Ubisoft responds at some point, and hopefully, we can clear this up soon. Perhaps there really is a patch on the way, but it's just behind schedule. Stay tuned for more.

They put a gimmick, a bad story, and stupid ass live action and CGI above making fun gameplay. That is a bad thing to do for any game and doing it in a FPS is as bad as it gets.
