Evidence Of PSN Cards Spotted
We've been waiting for the PlayStation Network pre-paid card for quite a while, and although Sony has already revealed it's on the way, we have yet to see it in stores. Furthermore, we've had numerous readers ask us when to expect them.
Well, a Kotaku reader has spotted a couple of price stickers - one of them pictured here - for the PSN card. It's a pre-paid card for the amount of $20, and the reader also claims there's another sticker for a card with $50 on it. Sony has yet to provide an official release date for this little beauty, but we imagine it's right around the corner. For those of you who aren't familiar, it's a straightforward premise: if you don't have a credit or card or don't wish to use a credit card to purchase things on the PlayStation Store, these pre-paid cards are just what you'll need. Simply pay for the amount on the card in cash (or however you wish), bring it home, log on, and pick up whatever you want. You'll basically be using money that shows up in your account.
With so many worthwhile downloads on the Store these days, it's no wonder that a lot of gamers are anxiously awaiting these cards. Not every PSN user has a credit card, you know.
