Capcom To Miss Rearmed May Launch
When we learned one of the most popular titles from the golden days of the NES would be remade and set for release, we were pretty damn excited. Bionic Commando Rearmed was announced in January and slated for an estimated summer release as a downloadable title on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. A little later, we were told the game would arrive some time in May...well, if you hadn't noticed, May is almost gone.
Unfortunately, Capcom has revealed they're going to miss their May launch window. According to GameSpot, the "Communicator" section of the publisher's website hands out the bad news-
"All we can tell you is that the game is done and is more awesome than pure liquid awesome. Our troops right now are in the trenches, battling with bugs and submission procedures."
Well, that's very creative and all, but they don't give us a new release date. We can't imagine it'll be that far off, but we had hoped to be downloading and reminiscing already. We're also anxiously anticipating the launch of the next-gen iteration of Bionic Commando, but that won't be available until later this year. As soon as Capcom gives us a concrete release date for Rearmed, we'll be sure to tell ya what it is.
