Two Old Friends Return In MGS4
As fans well know, Metal Gear Solid wouldn't be half as appealing without its cast of excellent characters. Snake may lead the pack, but there are plenty of other intriguing personalities in every MGS storyline, and as it turns out, two "new" characters from MGS4 have popped up in the latest edition of Famitsu.
Well, they're new in the sense that we didn't know they were in MGS4, but fans of the series will certainly recognize them. Here are Mai Ling and Rosemary, two female characters that must play a major role in Snake's final chapter. Everyone probably remembers Mai Ling from the original MGS back on the PlayStation, right? She was the voice on the other end of the radio, helping you along in Snake's inaugural adventure. Rosemary is from the PS2's Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, so it'll be nice to her face again. It seems that Kojima is assembling a cast of many different characters from each entry in the franchise to help close out Solid Snake's career, and that's very cool.
MGS4 is already raking in plenty of fantastic review scores and positive critic feedback, and we can't wait to get our hands on this imminent masterpiece. Stay tuned for our review, and in the meantime, try to keep your drool in your mouths.
