Resistance 2 Gameplay Video Is Seven Minutes Long
Back in April, anxious gamers everywhere got their first look at this fall's Resistance 2. It was a short teaser trailer that didn't show any gameplay, but it certainly piqued our interest. Furthermore, we learned that we can expect a look at the gameplay in June, which just so happens to be this month.
And now, thanks to Insomniac's recent Full Moon podcast, we've got another great piece of news: that gameplay video will make its worldwide debut on Spike TV's GTTV on Friday, June 13. And the best part is, it will feature a full 7 minutes of footage! That's a hell of a lot longer than that teaser trailer, and we just can't wait to get a look at it. This isn't anything like the Grand Theft Auto IV videos that kept our desires partially sated for many months, because gameplay footage is what matters most. Fans of the original Resistance should mark June 13th on their calendars, because that's going to be a day for excitement. Resistance 2 will be one of the biggest releases of the year for the PS3, and we'll have our first official gander at it next week.
Of course, this video does come out the day after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, so maybe some gamers won't be as interested. But we can take a break from MGS4 to watch 7 minutes of R2!
