Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Yesterday, Ryan Payton advised everyone to avoid thread topics in game forums that deal with Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, because he "guarantees" the spoilers will be out. We don't know when the review copies ship, but perhaps this is what he was talking about...

The official MGS4 strategy guide has been leaked to the Internet already, and provided you don't mind the potential for massive spoilers, you can check it out over at PlayStationBlog.net. They've posted up a full list of all the guns and items available in the game, along with new screenshots of some very pretty locations. We don't think there's anything in the way of story spoilers in there, but we handed out the warning, anyway, just in case. We don't wanna be blamed for ruining your MGS4 experience. Now, as far as we know, this strategy guide isn't available yet in stores and won't go on sale until the launch of the game (June 12), but then again... If this is what Payton was referring to, maybe the guide really does go on sale today.

So MGS4 fans, if you want an early look at this masterpiece and want to feast your greedy eyes on the good stuff, maybe you should check your local retailer. But again, don't say we didn't warn you.
