New Paradise Patch Features Custom Soundtracks For PS3
It remains one of the best racing games of the new generation, and Criterion games continues to make it even better. The third update for Burnout Paradise will soon be available, and it offers some fairly significant additions and enhancements.
We're still waiting on the Davis update that will feature motorcycles - yippee! - that is slated for August, but in the meantime, we get one last free update, entitled "Cagney." It's by far the biggest update yet and it will hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 10. First off, Criterion is providing "a host of tweaks and bug fixes" (source- GameSpot), and we also get a couple new cars and four new original liveries. Then comes the most significant upgrade: three new Freeburn modes and 70 new Freeburn challenges! For PlayStation 3 owners, there's yet another bonus, because this patch will let you create custom soundtracks for your adrenaline-powered jaunt through Paradise City. PS3 users have been waiting for such a feature for quite some time, and it's a great option for a game like Burnout Paradise.
