PlayStation Blog Turns One, Looks To Add European Content
One year ago today, the official PlayStation blog was born. It quickly overrode the semi-official ThreeSpeech blog and became a primary source of news and information for anything PlayStation-related. We've been happy to see so many developers, publishers, PR reps, and other industry insiders posting routinely at the blog, as Sony has made it a website well worth visiting on a daily basis.
You can see their birthday post today, and there's something of interest written down at the bottom. The comment in question is going to brighten the eyes of many a European gamer, because they'll finally feel wanted:
"And were speaking with our counterparts in Europe to bring more PlayStation news to you from that part of the world. We know youre reading us from across the Atlantic, and we havent forgotten about you."
So perhaps you guys won't be getting a specific blog of your own, but this does mean SCEE representatives may be on hand more often to toss up informative posts, thereby keeping you in the loop. It only makes sense to include such a giant region, and after one successful year, it's definitely time for the blog to expand and reach as wide an audience as humanly possible. Therefore, in the very near future, we will expect to see news over there that's specifically related to Europe, which is a good move on their part. Happy Birthday, PS Blog!

Don't belive me? The MGS4 "world" launch didn't reach us, the game will be available on the week of the 20th. If you log on to the PS Mexico site, you'll see a very awfull page with no moderators in the forums and such.
