Bioshock PS3 Set For November 4?
Most PlayStation 3 owners now know that Bioshock will be headed their way later this year, but up until now, we've only had an estimated "October 2008" release date. Well, one source claims to have nailed down an exact date.
PSU says Bioshock for the PS3 will be on store shelves on November 4, 2008. Now, they're not citing any actual references - merely a "source" - but it's plausible, primarily because it's just a few days past that estimated release window. There is, however, a reminder to everyone that this particular version should be the best one, as it will boast plenty of new features.
"Since BioShock for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows won countless 2007 Game of the Year awards, we are excited to see the impact of this stellar title for the PlayStation 3 when it debuts this fall," said president of 2K Games, Christoph Hartmann. "Over the coming months we look forward to revealing the new features and content that will make this a must-have game for its new audience, as well as for those who enjoyed it on the other platforms."
We're supposed to hear an official announcement from 2K regarding that November 4 release date soon, but in the meantime, let's just hope it shows up at E3. This is one game that PS3 owners should be very pleased to get, and perhaps even more pleased that the two future titles planned (it's a trilogy now) will almost certainly be on Sony's console as well.
