Rumor: Exclusive Bioshock PS3 Details
There's no doubt that Bioshock has officially become one of the most anticipated PlayStation 3 games of the year, so any time we come across new details - even if they're not confirmed - we feel obligated to let you know about them.
PlayStation Lifestyle claims to have "exclusive inside info" on the upcoming PS3 version of last year's Game of the Year honoree, and while we've already heard about some of this, there are a few new things, too. First up, there should be a new opening video that lasts about 6 minutes; it's designed to show us what Rapture was like before everything turned to hell. Secondly, they mention a whole new exclusive level with two brand new enemies. This is supposed to be the "zoo level" that 2K left out of the Xbox 360 version of the game due to time constraints. Thirdly, it seems Trophies will be included, as will Sixaxis motion-sensing technology. Fourthly, we should be getting better visuals, decreased loading times, and less pop-up, which ought to satisfy all you anal tech fans out there.
Lastly, there is one detail we find difficult to believe: it says all downloadable content for Bioshock PS3 will be free. We wonder if this is exclusive content, because we know all the extra content for the 360 version thus far will be included in the PS3 version. But anyway, we're hoping to get some clarification and confirmation from 2K Games at some point.
