Finalized Details For Square-Enix Party
Not long ago, we brought you the full slate of projects on tap for Square-Enix's private DKΣ3713 event coming up in August, and now, we have the finalized details for it.
According to Famitsu and Kotaku, this private party will take place on August 2nd and 3rd, and it will only be open to 2,400 attendees. These lucky attendees will be chosen at random through a raffle on the Japanese Square-Enix Members website, and they will get a chance to see S-E's biggest upcoming projects. Not surprisingly, games like Final Fantasy XIII won't appear in playable form; most titles at this event will simply have new trailers. However, some will be playable: Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP), Sigma Harmonics (DS), Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS), and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP) will have both trailers and playable demos. So that 2,400 can try out handheld titles, but that'll be it.
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3), Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3), and Final Fantasy Agito XIII (Mobile) will only appear in trailer form, and on top of this, Square-Enix is unlikely to allow pictures to be taken at these presentations. This is standard stuff, of course, and based on the estimated release dates for these titles (most of which don't even have a release date), we're not surprised that FFXIII won't be playable. We're just happy to see S-E showing something for their stuff, but of course, this is a worldly disaster according to Kotaku. Yeah, well...whatever. We're used to that attitude. If the games were on the Wii, they'd be really excited.

Kingdom Hearts on PSP sounds interesting too.
Some of the best PSP games have actually come from S-E like Crisis Core:Final Fantasy VII, FFTactics re-release, FF 1
