Insomniac's Price Talks Resistance
For some time now, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has been hosting commentary videos over at its "PlayBeyond" PS3 concept site. Thus far, these videos have included only Japanese developers, such as Kazunori Yamauchi (Gran Turismo HD) and Akihiro Hino (White Knight Story).
However, with the worldwide support the PS3 is receiving, including California-based Insomniac Games, Sony has decided to branch out at PlayBeyond. Insomniac's Resistance: Fall of Man is set to release on launch day in Japan (11/11), and while FPS isn't exactly the country's favorite genre, PlayBeyond is presenting the populace with a nice little 8-minute game commentary.
Insomniac president Ted Price will discuss a variety of topics in the video, including the background story of the game, enemy AI and weapons systems, and concludes with a discussion of how the PS3 benefits developers. And as another selling point for everyone outside Japan, the commentary is in English, so go here to check out what Mr. Price has to say.
