PS3 News: RSV2 Gets "Fan Pack" DLC In July

RSV2 Gets "Fan Pack" DLC In July

Over two million fans returned to Vegas for another bout of flashy fun in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and Ubisoft isn't about to ignore such an impressive and loyal following.

According to Joystiq and the game's official site, Ubisoft has revealed that a new "Fan Pack" will arrive on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace next month. This downloadable content will boast three new multiplayer maps ("Murdertown," "CQB Training," and "Calypso Casino"), along with brand new ranks, weapon and gadget alterations, and much more for the avid RSV2 player. For the full list of updates and changes, you can visit the official site, and chances are, you'll be happy with what you see. This is one game that excels in both the single-player and multiplayer campaign, but of course, true FPS fans always crave some intense online entertainment.

Obviously, the question now is, will Ubisoft present us with a third installment in this new series? Or are they going to bring the elite Rainbow Six squad elsewhere (as they've done in the past) when they do another entry? We're willing to bet fans are split on this question...

If the games multiplayer wasn't so severely broken I'd be exicited. Besides, MurderTown was a horid map in the first one why would we want it again? They finished the Vegas story line. The next RSV will be somewhere else.

Wouldn't let me edit again. RSV are initials that don't make sense if the next RB6 is not in Vegas. My Bad.

Why is this game so under-hyped? Oh, because it's a war game.

...RSV2 is most certainly NOT "under-hyped."

Just booted my RSV2 this morning and found a new update was available. You can now go to level 100 in all shooting and exploding catagories....very nice.

Time to stay in Vegas awhile more.

But I do hope they go elswhere in the next Rainbow Six.

I like the update alot...especially the High Stakes mode. Its not just no Regen...it makes shoot-outs more skillfull. The Incendiarys and Incendiary Delay is nice too.
