Rumor: DS3 Hits Europe On July 4
Japan was the first to get the Dual Shock 3, the new PlayStation 3 controller that reintroduced force feedback for a new generation. Then the US got their hands on it a few months ago...but as is typically the case, European gamers have still been waiting for the rumblin' controller to hit their region.
But the latest rumor from European gaming forums PS3-Sense says the day might be nigh: the member is citing several different "webshops" that have listed July 4 as the release date for the Dual Shock 3. If you're fresh out of school and have already let the summer vacation erase any knowledge of dates, this means you can get your hands on this new controller on Friday. Of course, this hasn't been officially confirmed by Sony, but we figure you guys have waited long enough, right? Besides, we do recall plenty of early speculation that said the Dual Shock 3 would arrive in Europe "some time this summer." Well, it's summer. Early summer, granted, but now should be the time.
If you live in Europe, feel free to check with your local retailer to see if they'll release any info on the subject. We await any word from Sony, and if we get one, we'll let you know. You know you miss the rumble!

I can think of a lot better way to spend $50 then getting vibration for a controller.

But I do understand your point, I only bought one DS3 while my friends have to use the old Sixaxis lol. I am cheap but they are a little too expensive anyways.
