First Rock Band 2 Tracks Leaked
It was no surprise to anyone to hear that a sequel to 2008's immensely popular Rock Band was in the works and scheduled to arrive later this year. However, they didn't reveal any details about the game, and music buffs have been dying to get a glimpse of the track list, which Harmonix lead designer Dan Teasdale has called "the best set list I've ever seen in a music game."
Well, it's MTV Games to the rescue, who cites G4's X-Play "inadvertently" showing a list of songs that are scheduled to be included in Rock Band 2. The leaked assortment of tracks is as follows:
- "Chop Suey," System of a Down
- "Give it Away," Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Everlong," Foo Fighters
- "Kids in America," Kim Wilde
- "Ace of Spades," Motorhead
- "Hello There," Cheap Trick
- "Any Way You Want It," Journey
- "Pinball Wizard," The Who
- "All The Small Things," Blink 182
- "More Than A Feeling," Boston
But it doesn't end there. A message post over at the ScoreHero boards has revealed even more songs thanks to a supposed game tester claiming to have some inside info. He added a bunch more, and here they are:
- "One Step Closer," Linkin Park
- "Peace Sells," Megadeth
- "Testify," Rage Against the Machine
- "American Woman," The Guess Who's
- "White Wedding," Billy Idol
- "You Oughta Know," Alanis Morissette
- "We Got the Beat," The Go-Go's
- "Aqualung," Jethro Tull
- "Bad Reputation," Thin Lizzy
- "Man in the Box," Alice in Chains
- "Spoonman," Soundgarden
That's a whole lot of classics there, and we're hoping all of these can soon be confirmed for the game. In the meantime, we'll keep an eye out for more rumored tracks; we know you music fans are going to want the best of the best for this sequel!

All-American Rejects - Dirty Little Secret
Just about everything from Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park
This is why I've stopped listening to the radio. Take some advice from me spend $10 on one of those cassette tapes for I-Pods. They are cheaper and more reliable then the FM transmitters. Best money i ever spent.
