September Release For Legendary
For a good change of pace, 2008 hasn't been all about the FPS (at least, not so far). With instant classics and masterful works like Grand Theft Auto IV and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, we've once again proven the industry doesn't rely solely on the uber-popular FPS genre. However, we're going to need our fix again soon, and while we can count on Resistance 2 for that, there's another game that should be on your radar: Legendary.
Thus far, the game looks great, and according to VideoGamer.com, Atari has just confirmed that the Spark Unlimited FPS will release for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this September. You shouldn't be too discouraged with Spark's lackluster Turning Point: Fall of Liberty effort; Legendary looks far more promising. Its attention to detail and unique and engrossing atmosphere appears to be massively entertaining, so if you love straight-up, all-out first-person shooter experiences, this should be right up your alley. Simply looking at some of the insane enemies you'll be facing should be enough to pique your interest, and the rest relies - as it usually does - on the technicals and gameplay.
There's no exact release date, but September 2008 is good enough for us for the time being. If we hear anything more about Legendary in the future, we'll be sure to let you know...it could be one of the first must-have titles of the fall!

In the end, if you want to make a good purchasing decisions, the reviews will steer you unless you have the money to buy all of them as they come out :)
