Sony E3 Content Hits Home In Europe
See, this is why PlayStation Home needs to make its way here as fast as humanly possible.
The potential for such a service is well known throughout the gaming community, and while a closed beta continues to operate overseas, North American PlayStation 3 users have to wait for the open beta to become available this fall. Look what we're missing: according to European gaming site PS3-Sense, Sony has revealed that Sony's E3 press conference on Tuesday will be broadcast within PlayStation Home, and it's specially designed for the press. Sony will hand out 25 beta accounts to journalists for the express purpose of seeing the press conference and a bunch of other E3-related content through the Home service. There's no doubt that this will appeal to most anyone involved in the industry, and we really can't wait to get our hands on that open beta later this year.
Of course, the Sony conference can be seen via live streaming video at a variety of websites, but Home will include a bunch more content for those lucky Euro users. The potential is there, that's for certain.
