Mystery Resistance 2 Countdown
Well, this may not be related to E3, but it's certainly worth mentioning, because it precludes any Resistance 2 news that Sony may issue at their press conference today.
If you check the marketing page for the upcoming FPS, Project Abraham, you will notice a timer down at the bottom of the page. Currently, it sits at 7 days, 16 hours, 6 minutes and 30 seconds. We have no idea what this is a countdown for, but it may involve another gameplay video of some kind, or it might be something else entirely. It could be as simple as another site update, but since when do they raise the hype through the roof via countdown timer for a mere website update? We're thinking Sony and Insomniac may shed some light on this today, or at some point during E3 this week. Without any doubt, Resistance 2 is one of the main draws of the show, and PS3 owners are anxiously awaiting any additional news and details for the blockbuster FPS.
The game is scheduled to arrive later this fall, and it's bound to be one of the biggest titles of the year. Sure, we already have GTAIV and MGS4, but the PS3 will need something to compete with Gears of War 2 this holiday season...and Resistance 2 is it.

What the hell is it saying at the end of the first video? it sounds like morse code or whatever its called, it was used a lot in resistance one whenever you came across those dead cloven guys.
I could be wrong, but it plays the code for a few seconds before going black

i looked closer at the sound file and noticed it was broken up a little so i got "-.../.-../.-/-.-./-.-/---/..-/-" (the slashes are the breaks) this comes out to BLACKOUT, believe it or not. i had to download like ten programs (because some were crappy trial versions) to convert it to the sound file and everything. you can thank me if you want.
