Warhawk v1.4 Takes Flight On PSN

After hinting that Incognito may be working on a new project, it was mere days until the launch of Warhawk v1.4. And the time has come: it is now available for download, and this update - like several in the past - is mucho significant.

The new update weighs in at 55MB, and it adds a whole horde of stuff for avid players of the fantastic online PS3 exclusive. It adds two whole new gameplay modes called "Hero" and "Collection," plus it institutes a bunch of new features that some fans have been clamoring for over the past few months. v1.4 includes: quick join, a mini-map update, rank & award updates, TOW missile respawn time change, a minimum rank server option, a respawn selection hint (need a little help?), PlayStation Home game launching updates (yep, it's coming!), afterburner flight-to-hover transition (you can finally go from burning to hover without disengaging the afterburner), a change to Team Deathmatch scoring, a new "winning team" ribbon, and lastly, a kick-idle player server option. Whew!

Lastly, don't forget that big Trophy support is coming in the next update (v1.5), and they're tossing in a grand total of 56 Trophies to be claimed by the skilled Warhawk veteran. For the full breakdown and description of each v1.4 update, visit TheSixthAxis and bone up on the details.

Time for my ass to finally pick this one up...plus a new headset to use when 1 or the other dies...is the new price effective now or are we supposed to wait until the actual "greatest hits" collection or whatever is released?

I guess we have to wait until "The Greatest Hits" Arrive since its really a future deal with all of them.
